Created in 1990, the CIQ Award is a recognition from fellow peers and the entire professional world for the career of a notary who has demonstrated a passion and extraordinary commitment toward his profession, the professional system and our society.

Three notaries have received this distinction since the inception of this award :
 

Among the applications received for the Medal of Honor of the Chambre des notaires that best meet the criteria for this award, the jury will recommend a candidature for the CIQ Merit Award, which adheres most to the values of the Quebec professional system. Only one merit can be awarded per year.
