The Chambre des notaires provides university scholarships for programs related to the notary profession and to teaching in the field.

The aim of this program is to promote the notary profession and the training for its members by making it easier to access master’s and doctoral studies for notaries whose application demonstrates excellence and an interest in disseminating knowledge. The program comprises two streams:

  • One supports notaries interested in an academic career
  • The other encourages notaries to specialize with a view to sharing their knowledge with the notary community

When admission is related to a gateway between two programs or when courses are credited (e.g., between the graduate diploma in Taxation and the master’s degree in Taxation), the maximum time limit starts at registration for the first program and the amount allocated will be reduced by any amounts paid as part of the Graduate Scholarship Program for the first program.

Decision: Decisions on scholarship programs are final and not subject to appeal. There is no review procedure. The Ordre reserves the right to modify, without prior notice, the number and value of scholarships, as well as the rules relating to each of its current scholarship programs.
